Workshops

California Food, Land & People offers two types of workshops to facilitate the use of Resources for Learning for formal and non-formal educators:

• Educator Workshop
  (6 hours) introduces educators to the innovative teaching strategy of Food, Land & People and offers hands-on experience using a diverse selection of lessons from Resources for Learning. Techniques include presentation, discussion, activity, and journaling.
  
  
• Facilitator Workshop
  (16 hours) "trains the trainers" on two separate days. Educators become familiar with the scope of Resources for Learning, the FLP Facilitator Handbook, FLP's paradigm, process skills and critical thinking orientation, theme and technique integration, and CA FLP's program and organization.
